The game is at its core an FF tactix Advance clone. I will not go much into the details of the game, but the main focus will be on the game mechanics and the game environment, to be precise, the aesthetics.

Basically you're managing a group of soldiers that fight you. You can equip them with weapons and armor, accessories and other apparel. The game mechanics are those of an turnbased tactical RPG in which you're facing a group of foes, so it won't be necessary to explain this any further.

What distinguishes this game from the others in its field are the following points:

The battlefield is long and linear. Where in traditional maps the main goal is to defeat every enemy, the main goal in this game is to advance to the other side of the battlefield. This allows for a whole new set of opportunities in regards of gameplay. Strategies and Tactics have to be more sensitive to the the environment. An increasement of the number of soldiers will allow for for classical military formations. Terrain height, the direction your soldier are facing, interactionable world objects like turrets and covers, weather and lighting conditions- Basically everything are variables that decide victory.

Of course classes are going to be geared to the needs of such a battlefield, even though the term classes is not appropriate. Classes will be fully customizable with a simple yet effective system that allows the player great freedom in the process of creating your own army. For example, Even though Heavy Armor influences the travelable distance per turn and other stats negatively and is expensive, it grants a huge amount of defense, obviously. But it would not be a good choice to equip a soldier destined to be an assassin who needs to get behind enemy lines quickly with such armor, unless you have a magical item to compensate this disadvantage. The combination of different equipable items will result in certain classes.I still don't know what is going to influence the abilities and attacks. Since this is a rather new idea, it is all still somewhat vague, but I'm working on it.

Here is a list of some other features and ideas I had. They are only rough concepts and/or ideas.

- The battlefield can be prepared to suit your tactics. There will be placeable objects like sentries, dispensers, catapults, walls. etc. You will be able to dig a trench, building bridges and other stuff.

-Since managing such a great army would cost to much time/energy during battles, there will have to be certain actions to speed up your advance in enemy territory. Also it will be possible to give orders to multiple soldiers at once.

- Abilities will include Alchemy, Magic, Cloaking Abilities, Necromancer (In other words: Killing your army and then raising an motherfucking undead army), other Blackmagic, Controlling opponents, Trapping opponents within the environment etc.

-At the end of battle you can freely decide the fate of your enemies. Take prisoners, kill them to take their essence, rob them of their all equipment (No random drops bullshit. If your enemies have has got a badass armor you want to have, you slay that fucker and take it), take them hostage and demand a ransom, or you can let them free, earning some karma or positive reputation.

- Different races, but I'm not sure about that.

The battlefields are going be the love child between of fantasy and modern cities. Everything will be a colorful. Armor and apparel will be a mixture between modern and old European soldier uniforms and other iconic clothing's and traditional japanese clothing. It's one of the things that look wonderful inside my head, but describing them in detail is futile. It needs to be drawn.

Soo that's it. Currently I can not think of more. There are aspects like the story and the the graphics per se, but I left them out on purpose until I have something worth of writing it down.
